Pecs, Hungary

As the fifth-largest town in Hungary, the history of Pecs dates back more than 2,000 years. Its architecture and culture have Roman, Ottoman and Hapsburg influences, and parts of its medieval city walls and Roman remains are still visible. Also found in Pecs is Hungary's largest remaining mosque. The town is famous for its museums, galleries and festivals.
